In order to engage new markets and to enter new markets across the country. The NFC wanted to commission an agency with first class development skills as well as the depth of resource to also provide support, hosting and digital marketing expertise.
The challenge was to set up a ‘greenfield’ web presence from scratch and to propel it forward using imaginative digital marketing techniques so it would achieve great rankings on Google whilst at the same time convert traffic that was generated when it landed on the site.

Our Solution
Magium’s web developers designed and built a compelling and easy to navigate web platform that allowed the NFC to showcase its range of products. Created using Magento, the site allows users to select colours and textures as well as calculate how much flooring is required and quote directly.
As well as buying carpet, tiles, rugs and laminate the site also allows customers to request a free sample thus aiding conversion as the user is then confident to buy what are potentially big ticket flooring solutions.
Results
Delivering a new website has transformed the NFC’s business. It offers an ecommerce presence with cutting edge features and allows the NFC to engage with customers across the UK on desktop, mobile and tablet devices.
The site now attracts a large volume of visitors and has seen online sales grow quickly on the back of digital marketing activity.
